Jibidee…put it all here
A few years ago, entrepreneur Allen Clary came to us with a plan to build the perfect website to organize life. We had never taken on a project like this, but it was an exciting proposition. Jibidee required us to learn everything from Adobe Flex to proprietary faxing APIs, mobile web development, iLog Elixir Components, automated document conversion and many other new, challenging and exciting technologies. We enthusiastically took on Allen’s project.
The site started off simple, with simple lists and notes being some of the first tasks implemented. As time has gone on, we’ve been able to make Jibidee bigger and better by adding a calendar where you can organize your meetings and events, an address book to keep track of contacts, document uploading, sharing, mobile access, and even faxing.
Last year, Jibidee was a contestant vying for the TC50, a Tech Crunch competition that recognizes new and useful technologies.  Jibidee was one of the top 150 sites featured in the demo pit out of 2000 entrants.  It was a great experience, and we had a good time meeting Tech Crunch employees and learning about other new and useful companies.
Recently, Jibidee received funding from investors who see the potential of Jibidee as an organizational platform that has some of the best features of Google Docs, MobileMe, MyFax, and more with an innovative webtop interface. Allen still manages his project and we are honored to continue to act as Jibidee’s developers.  There are already new features in the works, including photo albums and mobile syncing.
